Tres-Or Resources Ltd. (“Tres-Or”) is pleased to announce the completion of a reverse circulation (RC) drilling program on its wholly-owned Guigues Kimberlite near Notre Dame du Nord , Quebec between October 18 to 23, 2009. The Guigues Kimberlite is located in Tres-Or’s Quebec Diamond Property and was reportedly discovered in 1983 by De Beers and represents the first kimberlite pipe discovered in the New Liskeard kimberlite field. The mineral claims covering the pipe were released by De Beers in the early 1990’s, and were subsequently staked as part of a regional claims package by Mr. Norman McBride, prospector and Elder of the Timiskaming First Nation and his partner Mr. Philip Brown, P.Geo. Tres-Or purchased 100% interest in the properties in September 2003 subject to a 2.0% NSR or Gross Overriding Royalty (GORR) in favour of the vendors. The Company may purchase 1.0% of the NSR or GORR for $1.0 million at anytime prior to commercial production and also retains the First Right of Refusal to buy back the remaining 1.0% NSR or GORR.

The RC drill program consisted of six shallow holes completed to bedrock beneath thick pro-glacial clays, glacio-fluvial sands and gravels, and till. The sampling program was designed to recover indicator mineral suites from different parts of the kimberlite pipe and the immediately overlying till. A total of 8 samples were shipped to Overburden Drilling Management Limited (ODM) laboratory in Nepean, Ontario for recovery of heavy indicator minerals.

Suites of indicator minerals will be selected from the grains recovered by ODM for further analysis by electron microprobe, with the goal of identifying favourable kimberlite phases for later microdiamond testing.

Harrison Cookenboo, Ph.D., P.Geo., a Qualified Person by the standards of National Instrument 43-101 has reviewed and approved the contents of this news release. Dr. Cookenboo is responsible for the design and implementation of the work programs.
